Hiking Killarney National Park
Killarney National Park is one of Ireland’s many natural jewels and makes up part of the enchanting Ring of Kerry. There is something for everyone, but for a good place to start a hike, park near Jarveys Rest and Traditional Pub, cross the street and walk down the street to the entrance.
A silent hush greets you upon entering this holy place.
We made a book!
After coming home from our enchanting experience in Ireland, I just couldn’t get the place out of my head. I took nine months to write and design a small coffee table book and am ready to publish. The book is full of my own photography, whimsical illustrations, and poetic text about what it feels like to be in Ireland.
As you wander, peaceful stillness wafts through the halls. One can almost hear the ghosts of those who lived here long past, walking the halls, praying in the church, and cooking a modest meal in the kitchens.
And some rooms invite you in, but you dare not enter.
Continue up the mountain or save your feet and take a carriage ride back to the car.
